Neighborhood wax is a boutique waxing studio specializing in the use of soft wax.  In addition to using the highest quality soft wax, we also apply an oil barrier to the skin prior to waxing.  While getting a wax is never 100% pain free, using oil before waxing not only protects the skin, it also makes the service much less painful, in part because the oil acts as a magnet for the wax to grasp the hair, not the skin. 

Each brazilian and bikini service also begins with a complimentary hot towel treatment.  This treatment not only feels amazing, it also softens the skin and relaxes the hair follicles which allows for the hair to be removed with less resistance which means less pain and a quicker service.
